Next time turn right after Solan and go via Chail and Kufri. We went in November and the last few kilometers before Kufri was totally ice covered. It was my first time and to be honest I was quite scared. But thank God, nothing happened. I didn't even look at the car for the four days that we stayed in snow-covered Kufri. It was a Cielo which had done about 5000 km.

      Hi kavitha,

I went through PMBOK atleast thrice, line by line. It is the bible to clear the exam.... Also its good to go through Rita Mulcahy's PMP Prep Guide.. Its a good book with good question after every section....
Also I attended a 4 day training from PMTI, that is also helpful...
The more questions you attempts while preparing the better it is. I do Have Rita Mulcahy book, but that is in Hard Copy. I can send you few set of questions that I have is soft form. I have attached the same.

Well....A beautiful description of the trip has already been shared by Rajiv...so i would not repeat stuff... rather i would simply be sharing a few random thoughts...

In Gist...i would simply say ..."As a novice to vasihno devi, it was truly an enriching experience for me"...An experience which may give u chills when u think of distance, weather n other factors...but once u b a part of it then everything becomes so easyn achievable...
With a strong desire 2 meet mata rani, u somehow, get immense energy n enthu 2 go uphill ...

I would say, In this trip, Mata rani ki kripa se kisi bhi prakaar ka koi kasht nahi hua...saara safar jaikare lagate hue masti mein kat gaya ...
The entire group was full of enthu n xperienced ppl...n dat really helped in building morale..

Vaishno mata's kripa was aseem but in addition indra devta(weather god) was truly happy with our troupe....he gave us no hardships during the trip.... though rains started the very next day after getting back 2 Delhi & temperature dropped like nething..

Food stalls EnRoute ver also good...lots of kiosks offering u cold drinks, tea, coffee, chitput stuff...kewl enuf!..
the commitee seems 2 hv done a good job 2 make commuter's lives comfortable...kudos 2 their efforts...

Another intersting part of the journey was dat when we started when it was extreme hot...woolens ver actually quite unmanageable.. but as i feel xtreme cold, so i managed with 2 layers in the beginning which went upto 5 during the uphill journey....hee hee...:-)).......at the start, many ppl ver walking in their summerish tshirts/shirts...on the other hand some ver dressed 2 kill in "larger than life", "sherlock homes style" overcoats ...pl xcuse me...no puns intended...
as the temperature sank down, ppl's rucksacks started losing weight & ppl started looking hefty with layers of clothes piling on their body!!...
after every 2-3 kms a new pair of clothing was getting added 2 ppl's look...be it sweater, jacket, shawl(not 2 4get someone's unique way of wearing shawl),mufler, cap etc....

While coming back, it was a fultoosh timpeas till 6 pm....tambola game ...kulcha chola..interaction with non-IBMers.....photo sessions....
v guys did watever we could 2 save us from boredom....
photo sessions ver also inspiring...esp the "goli maar bheje mein pose"...

shared a few random thoughts...more later...

    Jai Mata Di...
